Venue : @ Lacampagne Beach Resorts. Ikegun, Ibeju-Lekki Area, Off Lekki/Epe Expressway, Lagos, Nigeria.
Campers will be exposed to an array of activities including First Aid Procedures, Bead making, Hair plating, Fashion designing, Cultural dance, Cooking, Artwork Designs, Learning Drum Beats, Craftwork, Horseback riding training in a safe environment on the beach, Computer Art Designs.
We give children the platform to experience the magic of the outdoors and allowed to choose any of these games during indoor or outdoor activities.
Sprint games – sack, ope, ogidi, egg and relay races
Board games – ludo, draft, scrabble, chess, snake ladder, dominos, ayo, snooker ball, table tennis and monopoly
Field games – volleyball, swings, badminton, football, swimming, trampoline, catapulting, swimming, limbo, obstacle crossing and ballooning
On-the-lake games – canoe riding, kayaking, floating and lake fishing
Dancing competition
At the end of the residential camp children will also:
Participate in a 1 hour Introduction to Coding class and attending technology related career talks and practical workshops where they will use laptops to learn.
Enjoy an out-of-the-box thinking session, aimed at stimulating their critical thinking and creative skills while gaining fundamental life skills such as etiquette, teamwork and leadership.
Participate in a Child Body Safety Session, where they will be taught how to protect themselves and be alert about improper conversations about their body while engaging in activities that equip them with life skills.

SpongeX Camp is designed for children between the ages of 6 and 16 - held annually to bring children together under a safe and nurturing environment where they will interact, learn new skills, improve their interpersonal relationships and most of all have fun away from home.

Our SpongeX camp is an educational adventure, where children explore and develop the 4 main Qs : IQ, EQ, SQ and CQ -Intelligence, Emotional, Social and Curiosity Quotients.
Our camp activities will help to improve self-confidence in the children and help them understand and appreciate their own value and skills, thus planting in each one of them the knowledge that they can make a difference and be part of the change towards a better future.
Research has shown that overnight camps can lead to meaningful and lifelong friendships, and also promotes independence and co-operation in children. With this in mind we have tailored our camp activities to leave a meaningful impact on the children.
DCS SpongeX also provides challenging and rewarding outdoor education and adventure experiences for schools and groups.
